Filed under: General, Life, Love — kevinbabu @ 1:15 pm

To fall in love is natural and is a different kind of feeling which each and everyone feels it in a different way. Love can occur once or more than once in a life time and many times a question may arise is she my true love..? In the college life, the youth mainly gets attracted and even plans to marry. But have they ever thought whether they have found their true love..?

Well lemme share some tips.

Knowing if you are truly in love can be a difficult thing. Some will say, “You just know,” or “If you have to ask then you aren’t.” It is more complicated than that though. There are some questions you can ask yourself to help decide.

  • Does he/she make me laugh when life is hard? Laughter in a relationship is so important. Having a partner who makes you laugh can pull you through difficult times. People who are in love connect on a level that others don’t. Being able to make each other laugh in the midst of the worst day ever is a sign that you are both in love. (more…)

Filed under: General, Life, Love — kevinbabu @ 1:01 pm

Hmm.. pretty nice caption.. Its not only the caption.. this question arises in most of our head… “Does he/ she love me…?? :o ” .. Most of us may be don’t get the answer at a glimpse and don’t try to find it out.. But some others takes risks and finds it out.. and this make cause to a engine breakdown or may be boost up.. (depends on the person’s fate :P ).. So how come can we know whether he/ she loves me..?

Lemme share some thoughts..

Body language is a great way to tell if someone likes you. You can use it as silent communication by observing another person.  Pay attention to signs or signals that you give someone you like and if the other person reciprocates, they like you in return. Body language is a way to express feelings toward people, which is called non-verbal communication; naturally, verbally speaking is called verbal communication. This article is written for both men and women.

  1. The first sign is to note how much space is between you.  Everyone has personal space that is comfortable to them.  If they like you, they will lean toward you to occupy your space and will allow you to occupy their space.  If they don’t move away, they are telling you that they like you and want to be close to you. Filed under: Airtel, General — kevinbabu @ 10:30 pm

The telephony media has reached the level of competition @ maxim. Every service providers introduce new features/ offers daily and many of us looses our valuable cash in it. Airtel is one of the prominent service providers introducing new stuffs to the mobile industry daily.. One of their upcome is the “Friend Chat”.. Huh… eventhough i didn’t activate it… they swallowed Rs. 10 from my cash balance… and it was very terrible for me since i didnt keep much balance those days..!! And when i tried to connect to the Customer Care of Airtel via 121 there was no option to getting connected to them… (in the past 121 followed by 1,4,9 will get us connected to the Customer Care Executive).. And so no way to get back my precious amount…

In the same way one of my friend lost his money too.. and for his luck he got connected with the customer care executive… and i would like to share his experience through his letter which he mailed me..!!

An Inspiring Speech by Chetan Bhagat November 29, 2009

Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a
balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before successful.
Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are
all in good order.

There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your breakup.
There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not
enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

“Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run
with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls,
there is no point coming first. Same is with life where health and
relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there
is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this
spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.
……………….

One thing about nurturing the spark – don’t take life seriously. Life
is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here.
We are like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we
may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we
really need to get so worked up? Don’t think much – what is right,
what is wrong? Just do whatevr you love to…………

It’s ok, bunk a few classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up
a few interviews, take leave from work, fall in love, little fights
with your friends. We are people, not programmed devices………” :)

“Don’t be serious, be sincere.”

What made Malayala Manorama so popular..??? September 21, 2009

Filed under: General — kevinbabu @ 3:13 pm

In this media-tech world, everyone tries to get into the highest peak announcing their glory. The best example is the ad-wars between the brands taking place now a days. And this war doesn’t keep within the limits of product brands. Medias are too involved in this war trying to make their mark. What ever it be, its clear that Malayala Manorama is the only malayalam newspaper having the highest subscription.

So what made Malayala Manorama achieve this height..?? Well you guys may say that they provide the latest exclusive news and goes on the list.. !! Well its true that they provide the latest news and this made them very popular…. More specifically they get the news even which other media even doesn’t get3.. And this is why they became so popular….. Getting confused..?? Check this news which was published in the Malayala Manorama website and you guys will understand what i actually mean…!! [;)]

paul_news

And they even say that their media products Balarama and Vanitha are also the no. 1 in India… And really I’m very thrilled and anxious to know of that what they did to achieve these rankings……

Copy, copy and copy only..!!! July 19, 2009

Filed under: General — kevinbabu @ 8:50 am

well copying anything like, scene shots, music etc is not a new introductory to the malluwood..!! most of the films will have something of other films especially from hollywood..!! now the trend has reached the television serials…!! talking about the serials again its not an new thing to its world.. they do copy music and stuffs…

But the funny thing that i noticed was the copying made by a religious serial which is a tide in most of the houses… the serial is none other than “Alphonsamma ” Well I do not watch serials… But my family members do watch it..!! and ” Alphonsamma ” includes in their in serial list too..!! SO rather than watching i always get chances to hear the dialogues and all..!!

Yesterday the same happened..!! The serial was on its reel and ma family members were watching it ..!! suddenly i noticed a background change..!! Its the song from ” Titanic”… I even thought what made my family members to change the channel and i came in..!! But unfortunately, there was no change in the channel… The music is from the serial itself.. and scene was Sr. Alphonse praying just before becoming the part of the congregation..!! Ah.. what nice background… ;-)

And still its not yet over..!! next is the speech given by the bishop.. And the music is from the famous hollywood film “Gladiator”… hoo.. .and still the copy is not yet over..!!

the very next copy is for a scene that Sr. Alphonse aunt is in vein and telling all her sadness to her son.. and the background for that is the music of another famous hollywood film “Pirates of the Caribbean..”..

Oh my god… what is this crap al about..??

Well at this moment I remember the famous words of Steve Jobs (CEO, Apple Inc.)

“Good Artist copy.. and great artists steal..”… But did he actually mean to happen like this..?????

Bloggers For Shashi Tharoor – Campaign March 25, 2009

Filed under: General, Politics — kevinbabu @ 10:12 am

Shashi Tharoor, born on 9 March 1956 is an Indian diplomat and writer who has been known mostly for his having worked as an Indian diplomat at the United Nations. In 2006, he was the official candidate of India for the office of United Nations Secretary-General, and came second out of seven official candidates in the race. Tharoor served as the UN Under-Secretary General for Communications and Public Information between June 2002 and February 2007, during the term of Secretary-General Kofi Annan. He is an author, journalist, and fellow of the USC Center on Public Diplomacy.
Tharoor was recently declared as the Indian National Congress candidate of the Trivandrum constituency in Kerala for the General Elections in 2009.

Why should you support him?

  • He has a Ph.D, two masters degree and is a graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. A rare breed of educated politicians.
  • Tharoor’s was an exceptional UN career, rising as he did from the P-2 level to the highest possible rank of Under-Secretary-General in a mere 23 years.
  • He has a reputation in the UN for being a reformer by action. Something Indian politics really need at this hour.
  • Shashi Tharoor’s resume and work experience is way better than other candidates in almost all of Kerala.

Silly Allegations against Shashi Tharoor

  • He does not have an address in Kerala. (Dont worry folks, we will buy him a house here)
  • He insulted the National Anthem By placing his hand on his heart (American Style). I think of it as passionate way of respecting the national anthem.

What can you do to support him?

You can blog about Shashi Tharoor and tell people the best reasons to vote for him. You can compare him with other candidates in the constituency. Put up support badges in your blog. Share information about Tharoor on social media websites.

To err is human… But can Infosys err in their own competition..??? March 20, 2009

Filed under: General — kevinbabu @ 11:08 pm

Aspirations – aspire, align, achieve

Aspirations 2020 is a unique platform introduced by Infosys as part of its Campus Connect initiative to bring the best of engineering talent from across India together to interact, enjoy and learn from each other while winning a few accolades and fame in the bargain.

Engineering students from 156 Campus Connect colleges across 14 different Zones will take up the Aspirations 2020 challenge with great zeal.

Hmm, Aspirations – may be the dream project of Infosys to get the campuses connected with technology after the flop of their previous dream project Campus Connect.  I said campus connect was a flop because after the roadshow that they have done we students haven’t seen them yet in our campus to get us connected.. and now they came up something else… Aspirations - an technical colloquium intended for the campuses all over India.

Now let me come to the err. Well the competition was given great publicity and moreover the students were very excited to participate in an event that was conducted by one of the Big Daddy in the Software Industry.. yeah really a very rare chance to get..!!

Many of the students got registered and finally the day of the teaser round came. Many students tried to login but they couldn’t because the site was not showing up. Another thing is that many students those have registered didn’t receive the username and password to login… (very bad..!!). The very next thing is about an event ” Quiz ” – they conducted the quiz online and the funniest thing is that almost all the students have done the quiz by Googling…. so what is the purpose with the event Quiz..???

” Programming ” was their must-do event. But still it was a big crap because students those doesn’t know to code got it done by others skilled in it… so any deal for that event too..???????

Next, this is the very big bullz-eye which made me angry to a great extent..!! well many students did register and did participate in the event.. After the teaser round the list of the selected students were published…. And that list had the names of the students even who hadn’t even seen the aspirations competition platform but they  registered for it…. !!!! Is this fair..??? Should this happen..??? If students who haven’t participated in the competition were given more consideration why should have they conducted these type of big crap..???

Should the Infosys mess up with their own event..???? What the heck are they trying to show or prove..??? Trying to prove that they are just a bunch of techie show offs..????

If the same event was conducted by some students or student organizations I think it would be much and much more better than the Big Daddy’s big mess…!!!
